Grønttorvsparken

The old green square in Valby has been converted into housing and a 23,000 m2 green park. Several fountains have been planned for the area. The artwork “SPEIRA” by sculptor Veo Friis Jespersen is located in one of the urban space squares, and uses light, water and movement to stimulate curiosity and the senses. The sculpture is made of stainless steel and glass – and uses both light and water to create variation and movement in the urban space.
